Jonathan Norris joined the Ink team in July 2011 and was appointed Executive Director of Trade Media and Events with responsibility for the Airline Passenger Experience magazine and APEX media platform, Airline Retail News, Airline Retail Conference and the China Travel Retail Conference.
Prior to joining Ink Jonathan was Vice President Cabin Design Office at Airbus where he led the development of world-class cabin interiors and cabin systems for all Airbus aircraft programmes. Other positions held include: A350 XWB Cabin & Cargo Programme Manager with Airbus, Chief Design Engineer on the 728JET with Fairchild Dornier and Chief of Repair Engineering with BAE SYSTEMS Regional Aircraft.
Jonathan is a Chartered Engineer with the UK Royal Aeronautical Society, is a member of the APEX Technology and Education Committee leadership teams and is a regular speaker at industry conferences/forums on a wide range of cabin, passenger and crew issues.

On 1 December 2011, Mary Kirby was appointed by London-headquartered Ink as Editor-in-Chief of the Airline Passenger Experience magazine and APEX media platform. The magazine aims to become the premier aviation B2B title in the world.
For nearly 14 years Mary has covered the aviation industry as both a journalist and an editor. In 1999 she joined Flightglobal as a reporter for its real-time news site Air Transport Intelligence. She was promoted to deputy editor (Americas) in 2003 and later to US editor. In 2007 Mary assumed the position of senior editor at Flightglobal’s weekly title, Flight International magazine, where she led coverage of in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) and aircraft interiors, and became a regular contributor to sister publication Airline Business. She was also proprietor of the highly regarded Runway Girl blog, which focused on covering the passenger experience industry.
Mary regularly speaks at industry events about such topics as in-flight connectivity, ancillary revenue opportunities for airlines, and social media.

Adam Tinworth – Writes the popular “One Man and His Blog”, where he has long tracked the transition of journalism, publishing and content into the online world. Until recently, he was employed as RBI’s editorial development manager, providing internal consultancy, training, strategy work and project management for its various sites and magazines. He now works as a consultant on content strategy, digital journalism, mobile and social media.
Alex Gilly – A writer and translator of French literature who has recently relocated to London from Sydney. His work has appeared in the Spectator, The Times, Offshore Yachting and other publications. His translations include the bestselling INCAS trilogy. Alex is currently finishing his first novel, a thriller set on the high seas. He is the sub-editor of Airline Passenger Experience magazine.
Amanda Smith - I’m a mother (first), writer, baker, artist, sales professional and, of course, a multi-tasker. Graduated with a degree in International Relations. What keeps me going is that same thing that scares the hell out of me, uncertainty.
Barbara Cockburn – Never met an air show she didn’t love. She traversed the world for five years as online content editor for Flightglobal – writing, researching, tweeting and towing a ridiculously heavy video camera along the way. Prior roles included editor of Aviation Business & Air Cargo, and reporter for Business Insurance. She now works as web editor across Ink’s Trade Media & Events division, where she shares her unique brand of snarky humour on a daily basis.
Ben Frain - A technology journalist and web developer for over a decade. His areas of interest are IFE media, data and connectivity. Besides contributing regularly to a number of consumer technology magazines, he has also written about IFE for publications including Aircraft Interiors International.
Benét Wilson - Author of the AviationQueen.com blog and a long-time aviation/travel writer based in Washington DC, Benét has also worked for Mesa Air Group and Delta Air Lines, Rolls-Royce North America and the Regional Airline Association. She now handles communications for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
Brett Snyder - Author of award-winning consumer air travel blog, The Cranky Flier, and President and Chief Airline Dork of Cranky Concierge air travel assistance. Also writes a weekly column about air travel for CNN.com. Brett previously worked in pricing, marketing and strategy roles with several airlines inc. America West and United.

Nikos Loukas - I am launching a website all about the world of airline buy-on-board menus. I’m looking to take a 27,833km journey on 23 airlines across Europe to sample as many different airline BOB food options as possible. Once complete all the data will be used to inform passengers of what’s available to eat on various airlines, as well as what options vegetarians, gluten free, diabetic and religious passengers can eat! I will blog about my travels.
